Childhood is the best thing that everyone had. It’s magical. At some point in life we used to say, ‘I wish I was a child again.’ We used to spend our time turning the old photographs. It’s beautiful. We take ourselves back to the old good memories. Moreover, we used to laugh at the stupid things that we have done in our childhood. Everyone has something in their childhood that make them laugh. We used to say I was so stupid back then, I feel to laugh at the crazy thing that I have done.

Let me share one of my crazy beliefs that I had during my childhood.

When I was a kid, I don’t like eating vegetables. I used to complain to my mother that it tastes bad or smells bad. While eating the food my mother sits beside me holding a stick in her hand. If I don’t eat vegetables she would surely beat me. I still remember there was not a single day I never cried. One thing my mother used to say is that if you eat vegetables you will be stronger and you can beat anyone who fights you. She tries to motivate me by saying Spiderman and Superman are strong because they eat vegetable, that is the secret of their energy. Then I will say that Chotta Bheem used to eat 10 to 15 laddoos per day that is why he is stronger. He defects all his enemies. So I don’t want vegetables, I will eat laddoos and become strong. But my efforts will be in vain. She tortures and make me eat vegetables. I got Lachanophobia (Fear of Vegetables).

When I think of that incident now, I am not able to control my laugh. Today I eat vegetable dishes, that is one of my favorite food. I am just wondering if I had eaten laddoos every day from my childhood today I will be a sugar patient. I will be busy attending PSC test (Pressure, Sugar, Cholesterol). Thanks to my mother’s torture today I am healthy and fit.

I believe that these kind of childhood incidents makes a person's life more charming and vibrant. At least we need something in our life to laugh about. Conduct an introspection into yourself, you will get tons of good memories. A lot of memories are buried under the slab called “Life”.
